Easter and chocolate, you really can’t have one without the other. You can try, but trust me, you will fail, and to be honest why would you want to? I asked some of my favourite bloggers to share their favourite chocolate Easter recipes with me. The end result is 10 chocolate Easter recipes that will definitely make your belly rumble.
I love easy, and these eggs fall into that category. They may be easy, taking around 15 minutes to prepare, but the results are Pinterest perfect. Amanda has used macadamia nuts and Turkish delight, but you could easily tweak the recipe to your tastes. There are so many wonderful recipes over on Chew Town, plus a ton more Easter ones, like Lemon Mousse Filled Easter Eggs and Tiramisu Filled Easter Eggs.
This recipe from Michelle at Giraffes Can Bake had me at deep fried. Crème eggs ooze out of their crisp deep fried shells. So bad for you, but oh so ridiculously good!
I have added this one in from Marsha over at Marsha’s Baking Addiction for the cheesecake lovers amongst you. They are the perfect individual size and adorable topped with mini Easter eggs.
How clever are these mini chocolate Easter egg cakes from Whitney over at WhitBit’s Kitchen. Looking at them you wouldn’t know there they were cakes. They would also be a great one to get the kids involved in decorating.
I think that peanut butter and chocolate are the perfect partners, and it seems that Sarah from A Saucy Kitchen thinks so too. How decadent do these chocolate covered peanut butter eggs look! They are gluten free using a very unexpected ingredient.
Emma is definitely being Super in the Suburbs with this Crème Egg Bundt Cake. It seems everybody goes crazy over Cadbury’s Crème Eggs. This bundt is just chocolicious.
The kids will love these Oreo Brownie Dessert pots from Johnlene from Flavours and Frostings. Who doesn’t love bunny bums popping out of rich chocolate brownie “dirt” pots. These really are just so cute.
A tall centrepiece cake from Olivia at Liv for Cake. This one is again one for those that love crème eggs. Three layers of rich chocolate cake filled with crème egg frosting.
