Disclosure Disclosure Disclosure. Nothing like a little bit of disclosure.
Belly Rumbles is free for anyone to read and enjoy. We love filling your belly with delicious recipes and fueling your lust for travel. We will never hide behind a paywall or charge you in any way.
But unfortunately, like other print and online media outlets, it takes hard cold cash to keep the lights on at Belly Rumbles HQ.
To enable us to do this we accept forms of cash advertising, sponsorship, paid insertions and other forms of compensation. Just like print media our advertisers are how we stay afloat, but you don’t have to pay for the weekly or monthly glossy publication.
You will find affiliate links on the site. If you purchase anything through one of these links it will not cost you one cent more. We do, however, receive a small commission. A big thank you and hug for your support of our affiliates. By supporting them you are supporting us to continue to create content for you.
I never promote items I personally don’t like. If I recommend a product it’s because I find it a little fabulous and I believe it is something worthwhile. If it is a product I don’t like you will never see it on Belly Rumbles. It is important to me to only share what I love with you. Let's face it, it is my reputation on the line.
If you are reading a sponsored post you will find a disclaimer at the bottom of the post. Why not at the top of the post? Because that is the way we have always done it. Back before blogging was popular we only had print media as our guide for disclosure. Since day dot we have disclosed to our readers, we didn't have to wait to be told. I feel if a disclaimer at the end of an article is good enough for print media, then it is good enough for us.
A sponsored post is where somebody is paying me to write a particular article about a product. If it is a sponsored post please be assured that we will always give you our honest opinions, findings, beliefs and experiences on that particular product.
Sometimes I or one of the team visit a restaurant, hotel or destination as a guest. We get a lot of invites and don’t accept every invitation received, I am pretty picky. Just like sponsored posts, you will find a disclaimer at the bottom of the post. As always we will give you our honest opinions, findings, beliefs and experiences during our visit.
This blog does not contain any content which might present a conflict of interest.
