The weather is warming and the time is right to fire up the BBQ for some easy grilled asparagus. There is no better time to throw some spears on the barbie.

I do love a simple and easy recipe. Minimum ingredients that let a seasonal hero sing. In this case, the hero is asparagus, which is cheap and plentiful right now.
Toss the asparagus spears in a little olive oil. Throw them on the barbie and grill until they have a nice char on them. Place them on a serving plate and toss through fresh tarragon, red wine vinegar, and sea salt. Serve with grated parmesan.
I did say it was an easy recipe. Plus these charred spears of delight perfectly pair with steak, chicken, fish, or Australian BBQ prawns.

- Sprinkle the red wine vinegar, tarragon, and salt over the asparagus. Toss to combine.
- Grate over parmesan cheese to taste and serve.
