A Pavlova platter is an easy dessert for entertaining. They can be made ahead and everyone creates their personal dessert adventure.

You will often hear these called Pavlova Grazing Boards. Seriously, who grazes on dessert?

This is a hearty platter of Pavlova ingredients where everyone can create their perfect flavour combination.

This is one of the easiest dessert ideas you will come across. You could purchase all the ingredients to make this from the supermarket.

Alternatively, make homemade passionfruit curd in advance. To go along with store-bought mini meringues, why not jazz up your Pavloval platter further with chocolate swirl meringues and basil meringues?

    • Fresh Passionfruit

    • Grated Chocolate
    • Sprinkles

Recipe cost and time saving ideas

    Homemade Mini Meringues

To save a little expense make the mini meringues/pavlovas instead of buying them. They can be made a few days in advance and kept in an airtight container.

    Use Seasonal Fruit

Make use of cheaper seasonal fruit. If berries are expensive (they go through the roof at Christmas in Australia), buy frozen berries, and serve them frozen.

    Time Savers

To save time don't make a thing buy all the ingredients from the store.

Prepare all the fruit and whip the cream prior to guests arriving. Store in the fridge until needed.
